About the role
The FP&A Finance Analyst position is responsible for Opex control and reporting. Analysis of P&L expenses by product and channels assuring proper allocations and also providing the needed explanations and comparisons (actual vs plan vs forecasts) and ensure accuracy in the monthly closing Opex process.
What you need
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business or accounting, among othersPrevious experience in the finance area (desirable)Moderate knowledge of financial modeling, P&L structure and corporate finance concepts (desirable)Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint (Microsoft office package)English (Intermediate/Advanced) is requiredMust be able to multi-task and demonstrate analytical/problem-solving skillsMust be a quick learner, self-motivated and a team playerKnowledge in SAS/Power BI (Desirable)
What you will be doing
Be the point of contact for budget and forecast creation/update being the main responsible for analysis, explanations and submissions.Keep constant relations with budget owners/supervisors to manage Opex budget by forecasting monthly expected spend.Analyze Opex monthly to track budget, extract actuals from Finance report, create reports from Oracle/EPM Systems to review expenditure.Create and request reclasses as needed to align spend vs budget.Inform budget owners/supervisors of monthly spend to understand budget deviations.Create and present monthly performance presentation to management.Prepare ad hoc analysis for management.
