What you'll do Are you excited by data analysis, teamwork, and the opportunity to connect the world? If so, we would like you to join our Viasat Brazil office as an intern! Work closely with team members to understand project requirements, data sources, and data quality issues Conduct data analysis, modeling, and forecasting Participate in data quality assurance and data governance activities Research and test new data analysis techniques, and share findings with the team The day-to-day As a Data Analytics Intern, you will: Collaborate with a team to create data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau Assist in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines using Airflow and SQL Conduct ad hoc analyses as needed to support business decisions Improve our data analysis and visualization processes by researching and testing new tools and techniques What you'll need Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Data Science or related field (e.g., computer science, statistics, economics, mathematics) Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau Proficiency in SQL and basic understanding of database structures Knowledge of Python programming Working English proficiency (speaking and written) Brazilian citizenship required What will help you on the job Experience with data cleaning, transformation, and normalization.
