Job descriptionThe role of the Corporate Project Quality Specialist is to ensure that large and complex projects are executed following existing procedures, utilizing standard AQP methods and tools. This ensures that the project objectives are met and customer satisfaction is achieved.
Their mission also includes initiating critical analyses of the quality of products, processes, and suppliers involved in the project at the appropriate time and conducting them with the technical depth required for a successful launch.
Furthermore, the Corporate Project Quality Specialist is responsible for mentoring Nidec GA's local experts across all sites and sharing and providing guidance on best practices for medium-complexity projects.
Main responsibilitiesTo be the corporate consultant for the Advanced Quality Planning Program for local Nidec GA plants, providing training and defining KPIs, approaches, roles, and strategies for the success of engineering projects;To assist the Large project teams on the implementation of new platforms of motors, hermetic compressors, and embedded electronics applied to commercial and household appliances;To support conceptual projects on defining how to control new characteristics based on Measurement System Analysis techniques;To set governance over our Product Quality Audit process, monitoring our capability of meeting our product specifications;To assist local teams in managing product safety routines, leading containment processes for global cases, and administering the committee meetings for risk analysis. Requirements and skillsEducational requirement: Engineering Graduation on Electrical, Mechanical or correlated areas;Knowledge in Project management;Possibility to international travels;Fluency in English language.Desirable: Knowledge on technical reviews tools application (D/PFMEA);Problem solving (PDCA, 8D and 7 Steps of Problem Solving);Six Sigma Tools.
