Appian-Tech Lead - Senior Specialist - Software Engineering

Responsibilities:• Lead a team of Appian developers, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and support throughout the project lifecycle.• Collaborate with stakeholders, including business analysts, project managers, and architects, to gather requirements and analyze business needs.• Design and develop Appian solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices, performance optimization, and high-quality deliverables.• Lead the technical implementation of Appian applications, including process models, records, reports, and user interfaces.• Ensure compliance with coding standards, design principles, and security considerations.• Perform code reviews, provide feedback, and conduct thorough testing to ensure the quality and reliability of the developed applications.• Assess risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential issues or project delays.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Appian with other enterprise systems and technologies.• Stay updated with the latest Appian features, releases, and industry trends, and provide recommendations for improving development practices and processes.• Train and mentor team members, promoting knowledge sharing and fostering a culture of continuous learning.Requirements:• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.• Proven experience as an Appian developer, with at least 3 years of experience in a Tech Lead or similar role.• Strong understanding of the Appian platform and its capabilities, including Appian Designer, Expression Language, SAIL, and Appian APIs.• Expertise in designing and implementing Appian solutions, including process flows, data structures, user interfaces, and integrations.• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, SQL, and other relevant technologies.• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.• Appian L1, and L2 certifications will be an added advantage.
