Software Developer (Analista De Aplicações)

JOB SUMMARY The Software Developer is an application developer that receives requirements from TS Management and Sector Leads and develops solutions per requirements. This role assists in driving proficiency within the team, assures best practices are followed, and supports the delivery of quality solutions. · ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Keeping all the applications used in the Plant available, including installation, user support, monitoring, analysis, troubleshooting and correction. · Keeping documentation of all applications available to everyone in the IT department, as well as user documentation. · Analyzing user requirements, procedures and problems to improve existing systems. · Maintain and create documentation to request changes to applications, following the Corporate process. · Work and coordinate any needs with application suppliers. · Planning application capacity to ensure high availability. · Develop/maintain computer programs to store, locate, retrieve specific documents, data and information with other equipment data and information with other equipment and/or systems. · Write programs that connect with other equipment and/or systems. · Plan input, sample data to test the accuracy of program assistance. · Resolve issues related to programs, acquisition of input data, time sharing, output requirements, usage, modification of coding, inclusion of internal revisions and check/code for system integrity. · Observing or testing program performance using samples or real data, assisting in user acceptance training. JOB QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS Proven proficiency across multiple disciplines and or technologies. · Advanced programming skills in both . Net and Java/J2EE platforms. · Advanced design and architecture experience. · Experience with XML structure and reporting engines. · Advanced skills with SQL, IIS, HTTP, and FTP. · Strong Linux experience, preferred · Experience in designing applications for automated production environments, preferred · Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. · Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
