.The Red Hat Consulting team is looking for a Cloud Consultant to join us in Sao Paulo, Brazil. In this role, you will create possibilities, solve problems, and establish working relationships with our customers. You will help explain the benefits of Red Hat cloud solutions to our customers. You'll gain an understanding of our customers' infrastructures and business needs. As a Consultant, you will work closely with customers on various specific initiatives including architecture, deployment, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of Red Hat related cloud and container solutions, including Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, Ansible Tower and Kubernetes based technologies. You'll need to have excellent technical abilities and solid communication and customer-facing skills. You won't be expected to know everything on day one, but your ability to learn new technology quickly will be essential.Primary Job ResponsibilitiesRoutinely assess, design, and implement Red Hat's core offerings, including Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, Ansible Tower, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Red Hat OpenShift Container Storage (Ceph and Gluster) and Kubernetes based technologies.Implement automated, containerized cloud application platform solutions with a focus on infrastructure concerns including networking, storage, virtualization, security, logging, monitoring, and high availability and system resilienceLearn new technologies quickly, including container orchestration, container registries, container build strategies, cloud storage, and software-defined networksServe as a subject matter expert on site, addressing technical, developmental, or strategic IT needsManage problem identification, system architecture definition, software specification and design, testing, and deployment of complex open source solutionsAdapt to changing customer requirementsRespond to incidents, escalations, and exceptions in a professional mannerDeliver quality results both on-site and post-engagement that are on time and within the scope of the assigned project, including project journals, status reports, and other standard documentationParticipate in sales and proposal presentations as needed in addition to completing ongoing team account activitiesRequired SkillsBachelor's degree required; master's degree in computer science, engineering or MBA3+ years of experience with Linux system administration, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or a derivative2+ years of experience working with Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, Docker or any other Container and PaaS related technologies2+ years of scripting or programming experienceKnowledge of system management, including installation, custom channels, deploying virtualized systems, basic client-based security, repositories, and creating core buildsThe following are considered a plus:Proven experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, Ansible Tower and any other Red Hat products
