Job Title: Regional Director of Discipleship: Brazil Title: Regional Director of Discipleship: Brazil Division: Translation Services Location of Focus: Brazil Reporting relationship: Supervising Director of Discipleship Peer relationships: Regional Discipleship Directors of other global regions and the Regional Director of Strategic Partners. Position Summary: A Regional Director of Discipleship will lead and manage a team of regional mentors and national team members, overseeing their training and working with them to develop appropriate strategies to disciple church leaders as they become engaged in Bible translation. ______________________________________________________________________________ Job Responsibilities: · Develop, maintain, and lead a regional team to support and facilitate the discipleship of local partners to support Bible translation. · Ensure that the regional team is fully trained in the concepts of Church-Owned Bible Translation (COBT) and equipped to train and disciple local partners in COBT. · Coordinate with the regional team and national partners to develop and oversee budgets to support discipleship activities. · Leverage experiences and develop relationships to assist and collaborate with team members. · In collaboration with the Supervising Director of Discipleship, evaluate partners' needs and creatively develop strategies to customize discipleship programs to address them. · Implement discipleship programs with translation partners, via international travel or by digital means. · Maintain database records with transparency and timeliness. · Provide analysis of data and create reports for Leadership Team. · Work with the Strategic Partners Regional Director to transition new partners into a discipling relationship. · Lead the regional team in the development of an annual plan and oversee its implementation. ____________________________________________________________Education, prior work experience, and/or specialized skills and knowledge: Leadership and management experience.
