Role Summary:We're in search of dedicated Quality Assurance Engineer passionate about enhancing the product development experience and advocating for effective testing methodologies. As our QA Engineer, you'll be an integral part of our Engineering team, focusing on ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. You'll design and executing test plans, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating with th e development team to resolve issues. Additionally, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain the accuracy and integrity of our products. The role also includes spearheading efforts in test automation and contributing to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes to streamline software delivery pipelines and improve overall efficiency.Responsibilities:Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of software productsCollaborate with software engineers to understand project requirements and design appropriate testing strategiesWork closely with the Product Owner to clarify and refine user stories and acceptance criteriaDesign, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworksConduct regression testing to verify bug fixes and ensure software stability across releasesWork closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize and resolve issues found during testingDocument test results, defects, and test coverage to track project progress and ensure compliance with quality standardsStay updated on emerging trends and best practices in software testing and quality assuranceRequirements:5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testingProficiency in designing and executing comprehensive test plans and test casesStrong understanding of testing methodologies, techniques, and best practicesExperience with test automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium or Junit or Cucumber Familiarity with languages, such as Python or JavaScript or Java, for test automationFamiliarity with Postman for API testing and automationKnowledge of SQL and experience in database testing, including SQL queries and data validationExperience with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure, and cloud-based testingPrior experience working with Agile development methodologies and participating in Agile ceremoniesUnderstanding of CI/CD processes and tools, such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CDExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environmentComfortable working remotely and collaborating with team members located in different geographic locations.Technical proficiency and field experience required.Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldSalary Range:Base salary - $50k/yearStock Options - 5000Bonus - 10% of base salaryBenefits:Unlimited PTOStock Options Remote Work Environment Company off-sites Equal Opportunity Employer Almond is an equal opportunity employer.
