New position, supporting increasing number of client projects - responsible for accurate cost estimating on projects, including labour, equipment and overhead cost.Reporta-se a Role Responsible for analysing project costs, developing cost estimates, and providing insights to support project decision making processes. Collaborating closely with Operational Regional Manager, Project Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate cost forecasting and control through the project life cycle.
Location Reports to Operational Regional Manager
Responsibilities Develop accurate cost estimates for client projects, including labour, equipment and overhead costs
Commercial review of projects to ensure all costs as per contract can be billed.
Monitor project costs and expenditures, identifying variances and assist in implementing corrective actions to ensure projects remain within budget and margin levels.
Conduct risk assessments to identify potential commercial, cost risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies to minimize cost over-runs
Prepare and present regular cost reports and presentations for Operational Regional Manager and other project stakeholders, providing insight into project cost performance and forecasted expenditure.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align cost management efforts with project objectives
Develop and maintain cost models to support cost estimation and forecasting activities
Identify opportunities for process improvements and enhancement to cost estimation and control processes.
Minimum BSc Degree level in Engineering, Construction Manager, Finance or related field.
Experience Requirements Brazilian citizen, with technical and commercial fluency in English language is essential for this role.
Proven experience in cost engineering, cost estimation or related roles within oil and gas industry.
Strong analytical skills, with ability to interpret complex cost data and trends.
Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
Experience in dealing with client contracts, regulations and standards
Advanced proficiency in Google or Microsoft applications essential
