Electrical and Instrument Team Lead Based Onshore in Dubai Excellent Salary and family benefits offered Scope : As an essential member of the Production Support Team, accountable for ensuring the safety, integrity, and availability of electrical, instrumentation, and HVAC equipment offshore, responsible for maintenance activities while adhering to safety standards, optimizing resources, and enhancing reliability. Responsibilities : a safety-first culture, ensuring HSSE performance in all maintenance activities, fostering safety leadership among team members and contractors. planned and unplanned activities efficiently, emphasizing meticulous work preparation to maintain schedule adherence without compromising safety or quality. maintenance activities within budget, seeking opportunities for cost savings, increased safety, and operational efficiency. maintenance and upkeep efforts for electrical, instrumentation, and HVAC equipment. existing equipment for potential upgrades and review new equipment proposals for suitability. continuous improvement initiatives through the exploration of new technologies, methods, and materials to enhance safety, reduce costs, and improve reliability. with workshops, vendors, and OEMs for equipment overhaul/repair, ensuring quality and efficiency. with the engineering department to ensure maintainability considerations are incorporated into equipment specifications and procurement processes. responsibility for Emergency Shutdown Systems (ESD) and High Integrity Protection System (HIPS). Requirements : BE or BS degree in Electrical or Instrument Engineering or equivalent 10 years of offshore experience experience in hydrocarbon processing and utilities plant operations with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) understanding of offshore oil & gas industry standards and practices (HSE, API, NFPA, ISA, IEC, etc.) with E&I control system upgrades, particularly in brownfield environments in Control & Instrumentation systems, including field instrumentation, DCS systems, PLC controls, safeguard systems, condition monitoring, and plant information management systems.
