New Technology and Disruptive Technology via master data management, Market Data analysis, Market trends and analytics, etc.Analyze and provide cost drivers, commodity indices, trends and information to support price adjustments at customers and product portfolio analysis and decisions. ResponsibilitiesSafety – Improve Safety by: Perform all activities with safety as the top priority.Provide guidance on safety to less experienced associates.Promote a culture of safety by identifying and reporting potential safety issuesPrice Analytics – Generate Data for Price Governance: Provides Data Analysis to drive setting of Target PricingPrice and Volume Analytics by MarketWin / Loss Rates – CRMCompetitive Intelligence / price assumptions– CRMMarket and Cost Index and TrendsPricing analytics, governance, execution, dashboarding, & reporting for contracts and non-standard billing processesContract Analytics – Build BID Analysis by: Compiling and Maintaining Bid Management WorkbookBuilding Contract ProformaBid Scenario BuildingCross Functional alignment and work with Finance to build out Bid P&L and Accurate Product Cost Modeling.Monthly Analysis of contract profitability:Monthly MPC and GP analytics for contracts (flag Red Flag Contracts for immediate action and communicate to Sales leadership)Bi-annual Contract business reviewsDrives reduction of SLOB with local SCM team and operationsWorks with Operations and Procurement to develop quarterly product costing and forecast trends for the commercial team to utilize in price negotiations.Product Line Analytics – Analyzes Product Lines by: Analyze performance of product portfolios, including sales portfolio profitability – utilize to drive product mix, rationalization, product substitution, Manufacturing process changes, make vs buy decisions, raw material substitutions…etc.Portfolio and Mix Analysis for Product SpecialistCRM Maintenance – Coordinate with S&OP by: Maintain and approve Competitor Data entry into CRMWork with IT to Create fields, reports and Dashboards for Commercial team Accountability and planning in CRMWin / Loss Rates – CRMCompetitive Intelligence / price assumptions– CRMNew products and Disruptive Technologies Analysis – Perform Market Analysis by: Master Data analytics and maintenanceMarket Data base analysisMarket Trend analysis and analytics which include but not limited to;Fisher Solve and CEPIDynamicsPress releases and earnings analysisSpecial analytics on requestMinimum requirementsUniversity Degree in Chemical Engineering Master's degree (MA/MS/MBA) or equivalent4-6years' experiencein the role.Fluent/Advanced English BEHAVIORS/SKILLSKnowledgeIT Systems NPIP, PIMS, Qlik, CRM, PowerBI, Microsoft ProductsBusiness / Finance Metrics (NPV, IRR, Capex Justification, Effects of Volume driven Cost accounting)Skills Business AcumenFinancial AnalyticsAbility to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutationsAbility to apply mathematical operations to such actions as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysisAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variablesExcellent written and verbal communication, strong documentation and report writing skillsBehaviorsSolution oriented, agileManagement of teams through influence (During War Rooms)Analytical ThinkerQuality of Work outputRigorous Execution
