Brainvest Wealth Management is seeking an experienced professional to join our Alternative Investment team! The Alternative Investment Analyst will be responsible for assisting in sourcing and executing transactions, conducting due diligence efforts, and onboarding alternative investment offerings across our platform. Projects will include assisting with the development and support of investment product launches, execution of placement agreements, and the customization of offering and marketing materials. In these capacities, the employee will work closely with offshore alternative investment fund managers and Brainvest's relationship managers. Furthermore, the employee will be responsible for assisting in the on-going monitoring of Brainvest's existing portfolio of alternative investments, which includes investments in private credit, real estate, private equity, venture capital and other illiquid assets. The Alternative Investment Analyst will also be expected to continue to improve and develop relevant metrics and statistics that will help the management team understand the performance of the invested funds/deals and identify new opportunities. In addition, the employee will support all aspects of the Alternative Investments platform, which may include working on analytical projects, reporting, forecasting and other long-term strategic initiatives. The Alternative Investment Analyst will also serve as a primary point of contact for relationship managers and clients regarding their investment portfolio. The employee will conduct regular meetings with clients to discuss portfolio updates, performance, changes in investment strategy and address client inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner. This candidate will be responsible for: Assisting with sourcing, due diligence and execution of offshore alternative investment opportunities; On-going monitoring and reporting of Brainvest existing alternative investment portfolio; Interacting with relationship manager teams and clients to present new investment opportunities and discuss portfolio updates; Understand and articulate capital markets, complex product structures primarily in the real estate, real assets, private equity and venture capital asset classes. Ideally the candidate will have: 3-4 years of hands on experience sourcing, evaluating and executing investments analysis; Interest in finance/investments, with accounting knowledge; Solid presentation and communication skills with the ability to efficiently summarize complex information; Well organized and detail-oriented; Strong work ethic and high sense of urgency; Must be a team player, with the ability to work independently; Committed to self-improvement, natural curiosity, and willingness to learn and grow; High degree of integrity; Ability to manage and complete multiple and simultaneous projects with tight deadlines; Experience navigating and interpreting private funds documentation; Ability and openness to understanding operational, accounting, and legal aspects of investments; Fluent English is a must.
