Logistics Director - Latam

The role Coty is seeking an exceptional individual to join the logistics team in Goiânia (GO). In this role, the person will directly lead the logistics organization in Latin America, including transportation and a set of distribution centers across the region (owned and 3PLs). This is a very operationally focused role to manage the business to meet all relevant supply chain KPIs. The Role will report directly to the Americas Logistics VP.

The position covers a broad range of business activities at functional, operational, and strategic levels. To work closely with the DC leaders and the central transportation team to operate the day-to-day business with excellence. Set the strategy, frameworks, guidelines, and provide expertise in DC and transport operations. This includes communication with authorities and internal stakeholders. Responsibility to identify and manage projects that deliver added value to the business in terms of financial, service, safety, and sustainability.

Provide operational direction to the operational teams in all matters relating to warehousing services and transportation. Supporting the operational line management in the selection, contractual management, and performance of externalized services including 3PL's, outside storage providers, WMS, LMS, and other appropriately identified activities.

The individual who fills this role will be expected to contribute to the logistics leadership and develop relationships with the teams on all aspects of the business activities. Key relationships in addition will be the Go-to-market teams in Latam, the planning community, the Center of experience (CoE), the regional and central transportation teams as well as the finance, procurement, manufacturing, and IT teams.
