DNV Global Shared Services is now looking for a lawyer to lead the Corporate Specialist activities in South America as per below:
Good knowledge of relevant local laws related to documentation and licenses requirements, its registration and maintenance for compliance and business continuity.
Maintain the corporate records in digital and physical form in DNV GL's corporate database ensuring that it is updated.
Support and advise the County Chair's efforts in respect to legal entities compliance with federal and provincial board governance laws and compliance with applicable national company laws in general.
Coordinate and facilitate preparation of corporate actions needed for compliance.
File in public registers (if and when required) any prepared or maintained corporate records.
Liaise with stakeholders in the corporate housekeeping.
Communicate as needed with external auditors or other third-party service providers, such as local lawyers.
Representation before public/regulatory/custom agencies (filing forms, suit documents and follow up).
Follow-up of ongoing liquidation and merger processes.
Act as Project Manager for ECM, a self-audit compliance project.

Bachelor degree in Law.
Deep knowledge in Brazilian law.
OAB (valid).
Portuguese Native.
Fluent in English.
Spanish Intermediary/Advanced is a plus.
Knowledge in Company Corporate Law and Contracts.
