What's the opportunity?We are looking for a Country Treasurer to lead our Brazilian Treasury team. The ideal candidate will be helping to build financial strategies in the short, medium, and long terms.Reporting into the local GM in Brazil and the Americas Treasurer, you will be responsible for:Inheriting end-to-end ownership of all aspects of the Treasury implementation for our Brazil go-live, including our bank partnership strategy, our bank operational setup/integration and the development of our daily processes for reconciling and managing merchant settlementsPlaying a significant role in devising and executing on our Brazil strategy with our local team, partnering closely with our Commercial, Legal, Product and Accounting teamsPlaying a key role interacting with local regulators for acquiring license applications and with schemes as we onboard bank partners and integrate with local clearing housesActing as the contact and escalation point for Treasury for management and other regional partnersUnderstanding and applying regulatory requirements across liquidity, capital management and safeguarding processesManaging and executing the daily reconciliation and processing of merchant payments on various regional banking platforms and working with Commercial stakeholders and leaders to troubleshoot merchant needs and issuesDeveloping and documenting internal processes and proceduresCollaborating closely with our external partners (e.g. Banks, Card Schemes, Regulators, etc.)Producing regulatory submissions and other ad-hoc reporting as requiredAssisting the Americas Regional Treasury team with daily processes and ongoing projectsRequired :Relevant Treasury experience in an international set-upProven domain expertise in the Financial Services/Payments sectors in Brazil with a strong understanding of payments products and flows, and of the related nuance of Treasury operations in this industryPrior experience collaborating and building relationships with local banking partners and regulatorsIn-depth understanding of Treasury processes, including but not limited to, cash management, bank account management and Treasury operations with strong willingness to learn new products/processesStrong communicator with the ability to build cross-functional relationships and work collaborativelyAbility to handle multiple tasks with tight delivery schedules and prioritize accordingly, communicating roadmaps and deliverables clearly and articulatelyHigh level of technical proficiency with MS ExcelPrior experience managing and motivating a diverse, high-performing team
