We arelooking for an Assistant Project Manager for software development of SCADAEnergy Management Systems.Organizationsthat create and sell software products often hire assistant project manager.Their primary role is to support the project manager as they develop new projectsand products and/or improve the existing ones, also interacts with the internalteams to implementing quality maintenance procedures and products enhancements andmeasure the overall productiveness and effectiveness of each member of the team.An Assistant Project Manager plays a vital role in assisting the project managementteam with various tasks and projects related to the development, launch, andmaintenance of software products or projects. In this job, you will be requiredto perform a wide range of administrative and organizational tasks to ensuresmooth project delivery operations.You'llmake an impact as you: Define project scope, dependencies, critical path, goals, and results that support the strategic business goals and requirements in collaboration with main project manager, account sales executives, senior management, and partners, ensuring the quality and legal aspects.·Setup necessary project infrastructure as perdefined Project Execution workflow Setup meetings with customers to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements for the contracted scope of the project(s) and maintain the relationship during the project execution life cycle. Proactively address changes in project scope to ensure adherence to plan and handle risks with appropriate mitigation strategies. Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques. Preparing project review presentations and reports for executive meetings.Incorporating lessons learned from experienceof delivered projects into the proposal being prepared. .Regular (weekly) updates of the actuals,remaining efforts and forecasted costs within the project schedule and theProject review documents.Liaise with project partners (resourcemanagers and technical lead) on an ongoing basis, working with them when neededfor the allocation of resources from within company or external partners.You'llwin us over by having the following qualifications: Successful software project management experience with systems in the utility industry, with responsibility for project planning, quality assurance, budgeting, and resource management Expertise in the energy/utility SCADA/EMS software industry required. Ensuring software quality standards are met and requirements are submitted within budget and on time and, also guarantees all project proper documentation. Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or studies relevant to Energy and Power Systems required. Excellent client-facing and presentation skills in English, using Microsoft Project. Excel, Jira and other tools. Excellent communications and writing skills in English. Ability to travel one or two times in a year.Preferredqualifications: Current PMI certification is a plus. Working understanding of Agile Methodology preferred. Excellent knowledge of MS project scheduling and JIRA tool.
