Senior Project Engineer

Purpose of the Role The Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for delivering projects end-to-end, concept, design, procurement, assembly, and commissioning to ensure compliance with procedures, scope, time, and cost. Job Function • Develop Project Conceptual Engineering, Schedule, and Budget. • Control Cost, Performance and Schedule during Project Execution, always looking for optimization. • Clarify the Projects Work scope with the Offshore Team prior to its execution. • Coordinate Engineering, Procurement and Fabrication/Installation Sub-Contractors. • Manage mid-term to large scale in-house projects. • Review and challenge contracts with partners and contractors. • Review/create operations technical procedures and instructions related to its projects. • Participate in HAZID and HAZOP meetings with a multidisciplinary team. • Perform/participate in risk assessments. • Ensuring processes comply with safety and quality standards. • Provide support during audits. Qualification & Experience • Electrical, Instrumentation, Chemical, Petroleum, Production, Mechanical Engineering or Material Engineering. • Previous 'experience in the O&G industry (over 7 years). • MSc or MBA is desirable. • Previous experience in Construction. • Previous Offshore experience. • Good knowledge of technical international standards (ASME, API, ASTM, ISO, etc.) • Excellent knowledge of best engineering practices consolidated in O&G industry
