For our MPL Office in Brazil based in São Paulo, we are currently looking for a: Operations Team Leader - São Paulo POSITION As teamleader you are the responsible for the daily activities, you are responsible for handling and coordinating export and import sea shipments. You monitor operational - and administrative processes and handle files from A to Z, including margin control and invoicing. You take care of the follow up with the client on their shipments and manage client's complaints. As an experienced people manager, you motivate and coach the team to create a great working environment and work together towards the best result. You are also responsible for the further development and execution of commercial and operational activities. You provide input and drive the implementation of a commercial strategy in order to deliver revenue and profitability. You manage and develop commercial and strategic relations with vendors as well as overseas partners in order to handle commercial and pricing requests. PROFILE We are looking for a highly motivated candidate who has five years' experience in freight forwarding industry. You deliver excellent customer service - towards customers and colleagues all over the world. You are a hands-on operations manager and have the drive and the skill to inspire, coach and develop people. You can identify commercial opportunities and translate them into wins for the future. You are an expert in communication and deliver excellent service - towards customers and other subsidiaries within our group. You are PC Literate and eager to learn with an innovative mindset. You speak and write English fluently. Knowledge of any other languages are a plus. At the moment you work from home, but this may change in the future. You like a healthy level of stress in your function and you are willing to work for a company in full expansion.
