Samsung Marketing Latin America Office (Regional Headquarters) We are a leading company in our industry, dedicated to providing innovative solutions and services to our clients. We seek a talented and experienced Data Science Manager to join our Marketing team and drive growth through data-driven insights and strategies. As a Marketing Data Science Manager, you will lead a team of data scientists responsible for analyzing marketing data and developing predictive models to optimize marketing campaigns and customer experiences. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and sales to identify opportunities for improvement and implement data-driven solutions. One of your main responsibilities will be to implement and lead a Center of Excellence in the Latin America Regional Office that will support 7 subsidiaries in consumer and business data. Additionally, you will be expected to prepare and deliver executive presentations to C-level executives. Responsibilities: Manage data scientists' efforts working on marketing projects. Train and educate employees on data analysis techniques, tools, and methodologies to increase the adoption of data-driven approaches. Develop and execute data-driven marketing strategies to increase customer engagement, retention, and revenue Analyze large datasets using statistical methods and machine learning algorithms to derive actionable insights and recommendations Collaborate with marketing, product development, and sales teams to identify business challenges and develop data-driven solutions Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data science and marketing, and share knowledge with the team Mentor and train junior members of the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement Communicate complex data analysis results effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Prepare and deliver executive presentations to C-level executives Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful completion within agreed upon deadlines Implement and lead a Center of Excellence in the Latin America Regional Office that will support 7 subsidiaries in consumer and business data Work closely with other departments to integrate data-driven insights across the organization Requirements: Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field Strong understanding of statistics, machine learning techniques, and data mining tools Expertise in Python, R, SQL, or similar programming languages for data analysis English proficiency is mandatory; Spanish proficiency is a plus Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or AWS/GCP Big Data Services Proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions in a marketing context Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner to C-level executives Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build relationships across the organization Passion for staying current with emerging data science methodologies and tools Experience with A/B testing, multivariate testing, and experimentation design Why is Samsung Electronics the place to be? • You will be part of a dynamic and global team, constantly interacting with different cultures. • You will have the chance to influence the local team with strategy by identifying local trends and ideas, which can become seeds for future projects in one of the world's most innovative companies.
