350.org is looking for an experienced, skilled and strategic Brazil Senior Campaign Coordinator. About 350.org 350.org is building a global grassroots movement to solve the climate crisis. Our online campaigns, grassroots organizing, and mass public actions are led from the bottom up by thousands of volunteer organizers in over 188 countries. 350.org works hard to organize in a new way—everywhere at once, using online tools to facilitate strategic offline action. About the Brazil Senior Campaign Coordinator The Brazil senior Campaign Coordinator will be responsible for developing, managing and leading a campaign in the Brazilian Amazon. The main campaign has the goal to accelerate renewable energy accessibility and a just energy transition in the Amazon. The Senior Campaigner will be supported by 350.org Brazil Team and 350.org Global teams, working closely with our key partners, organizations and movements.
A successful Campaign Coordinator will ensure that 350.org Brazil is running a high profile campaign receiving attention from our targets, media and building continuous engagement of our supporters and partners, and ultimately helping 350.org to achieve our organisational goals. 
The Campaign Coordinator will work as a member of the Latin American Team, with Global teams and other regions of 350.org and will have to attend events on behalf of 350.org in Brazil and possibly in other countries. 
This is a temporary position which will remain active until the end of February of 2026 with a possibility to be extended for a longer period of time. 
Main activities Work with the Latin America regional team and 350 global teams to deliver a narrative arc for the campaign;Develop a campaign plan with key partners towards an energy just transition in the Amazon and coordinate events and actions aligned to it;Identify opportunities and connections with other Pan-Amazonian countries;Contribute to the campaign against fossil fuel exploitation in the Amazon;Engage with different groups to galvanize support to the campaign;Develop strategies to bring new people into the network, growing existing groups and forming new ones, with a focus on increasing diversity, equity and inclusion; Coordinate the project budgeting and make sure that the budget is on track;Participate in the campaigning community of practice of 350.org;Participate in other Project teams as required, i.e. COP30;Plan content and deliver workshops and trainings targeting different audiences;Act as a public spokesperson for 350.org .Required Qualifications At least five years of experience with campaigns and projects implementation in the Amazon;Proficient with virtual meeting technology, google drive and other online technologies;Fluent in Portuguese and English;Availability to travel domestically and internationally if necessary;Knowledge of disciplines connected to climate change and the energy sector;Existing network of movement relationships around climate and social justice;Experience and strong skills to work with a variety of stakeholders. Examples are environmental and social organizations, indigenous people, politicians, youth organizations and diverse coalitions and networks;Ability to communicate complex ideas in clear, concise terms (written and verbally);Excellent self-organizing skills; problem solver with a positive attitude; able to work in a fast-paced environment, and also willing to dig in on all kinds of tasks;Culturally intelligent/sensitive, and an excellent coordinator of diverse teams, able to articulate issues in a manner that brings people together to make progress;A demonstrated understanding of and commitment to justice, equity, diversity and inclusion (JEDI), anti-racism or anti-oppression work.Desirable Qualifications Fluent in Spanish.Public Engagement: Understand 350.org's history, campaigns, and theory of social change, and keep updated with basic climate science and policy. From time to time, use this knowledge to represent 350.org's perspective in varied public venues based on geographic location and areas of expertise. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working both independently and in teams, highly responsive, and able to lead initiatives as well as take direction from others.Position Type: Full Time  Application Deadline: Although we hope to begin interviews in April, this job is open until filled, or the hiring manager determines that they can no longer accept applications.

Compensation: Salary tier 2.3 BRL 225,464
Location: Remote within Brazil, with a preference for the Amazon region
