Location: Remote in LATAMSalary Range: $2,000 - $2,800 USD MonthlyType of contract: Independent contractorWorking hours: Full-time in Central or Eastern TimeOn a typical day you will…Showcase your initiative and proactive problem-solving abilities within our remote work setting.Experience our people-first culture, dedicated to alleviating the burdens of e-commerce business ownership for our clients.Cultivate a supportive and collaborative atmosphere, contributing to a team-driven environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the month-end close process with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.Communicate effectively with clients to address challenges and queries in a knowledgeable and helpful manner.Oversee a team of 3 accountants and bookkeepers, ensuring the accuracy of their work and providing guidance as needed.Close the books for various clients, understanding and adapting to each client's unique processes.Identify and troubleshoot discrepancies, leveraging the support of a CFO and other team members as needed.Utilize experience with inventory management to ensure accurate financial reporting.Reviewing balance sheets line by line, identifying errors, and ensuring accuracy.RequirementsHold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is highly desirable.Advanced level of English language with strong verbal and written communication skills.5+ years of experience in accounting.Experience with inventory management is essential.Non mandatory skillsExperience with QuickBooks Online is helpful.Familiarity with FP&A functions is a plus.Familiarity with Asana for project management tasks.Experience in consumer brands or e-commerce is preferred.You will be the perfect fit ifYou can demonstrate enthusiasm for learning and owning the process.You see this role as an opportunity for career growth and act as a proactive problem solver.
